I hate the USPO and their so called Confirmation number

I love my mail service but hate the USPS. I pay my mail service extra to have all confirmation numbers on all of my packages - she does a wonderful job. She gets all my shipments in a box, puts the postage on it and the confirmation and then sends them to the Post Master and then from there on it gets screwed up every time. I am suppose to have 3 packages for Wednesday and it's now Friday and the confirmation number states it has not been processed so what the heck am I paying for? NOTHING that's what - the dang Post Office yet fails again. I probably should state that I got two out of three - I'm very angry that there is no info on my third - errrrrr gosh dang it...

Terri Lund the best Manager for the mail service - she totaly rocks and we depend on her....

So that brings me to my next topic - I am still waiting for my foam - no foam - no couch cushions and again my RV looks like a storage shelter instead of home!

Now moving on!! I completed another hat and placed it for sales. My prices vary only because of the types of yarns I use. So if your looking for a certain price range do check out the store because I'll have them for every budget line!! I just so enjoy making them and have had some really good feedback's on them. So do check out the store and see if I can fit your fancy.....

I want to give a special shout out to a set of friends in which I have to keep hush hush about until their ready to share their good fortune and God's Blessing - and I want to say Congrats to them and that I'll always be there for them ALWAYS!! They are good people and loyal friends and both my husband and I cherish them!!

And also I would like to give a shout out to my friends Ken and Lou Ann who came from San Jose, CA to visit us and feeding my ego on my current RV status and by the way is a huge fan of my hats - I must of heard it 20 times today during our visit. And thank-you for taking us out to lunch - that was much appreciated and very sweet of you two.... Lou Ann is so funny and I'll leave it at that.... Happy Birthday dear friend! I love you so much you know!! Ken you make the best bacon ever and venison - sucks that we no longer eat red meat.... Ken owns TUF Machinery Service and his web link is: http://www.tufmachinery.com/

Enjoy the pics and hopefully soon I'll have my RV up and running and under control and I can get to really bloggin about crafting in an RV and storage and products and such!! Soon I promise...

Name Game help Needed!

This hat was not my favorite to work on - for me it was the colors. But when the hat was finished and it just didn't measure up for me and so I thought heck why not add a different type of yarn to it. And now I love it. I've asked my facebook friends and my campground_crafter friends to help name this hat (I think that's the real reason my hats are selling - lol). I've sold 3 items in my Esty store today and I'm just tickled pink about it. Not that I plan to make millions but would love to make a couple of hundred a month just so I have an excuse to run to the yarn store to re-fill my bins..... And once things settle in the RV and I have room I'll be knitting like a crazy women - yeppers plus I need to get my MS charity blankets done before winter so that we can give them to our member of our MS group I started. I'm still mad that my brother is gone and stumped that the research isn't as advance as other diseases - it's just not fair. I do realize life does go on and that the circle of life has to turn but until my time comes I will hurt. Did you know that in both of my little brothers yearbook they both named me as their hero. We were lucky to be so close. Families today just aren't. Some times I hate living in America because my family all lives in Germany and I feel guilty. But then I remember how much of a Yankee girl I am. Jorge of course being the best husband and friend tells me he would move there if I wanted us to go. But there is so much of United States I haven't seen and people I am still drawn to meet.
So back to my hat - what do you think of it?

Saddlebag Lake Resort (our friend) Marge!!

So we have the couch in and the table is in place and the only thing left is to make the cushions - but the cushion and fabric will not be here till next Thursday. So mean while we'll have to make due.
I've been working on the Esty store to get things ready for the Christmas Season -Aug is the start of shopping season and I'm still so far behind. But it's still fun to meet the challenge.
In one of the pictures is our friend Marge, who works up at Saddlebag Lake Resort (Don't quote me but for 8-9 years she's been there - that's how great it is up there)...
http://www.saddlebaglakeresort.com/
- you really should check their site out - you'll see where Jorge was a camp host last year. It was both the best summer of our lives and a real eye opener.... the owners are great but if you talk to folks around here they'll tell you even more first-hand how wonderful they are.... We're lucky to get to call them friends!!

Marge and Jorge are brainstorming as to what to do with the couch and stuff - not my turf - I'm about colors and flare - lol.... Great minds think alike.... Here's my new items on the Esty store aren't they just so cute....

I'll add more pictures over the next couple of days.... I am working on a new hat that is a strange but ever so soft boa yarn. I think this will sell fast - one can only hope....

Go check out the Saddlebag Lake Resort - We visit this site often as a way to remember our great time up there!!

RV Benches

It is so difficult to craft in a 24 foot motorhome when it's torn to shreds. But somehow I did manage to get a hat done and I'm now working on a doll hat. Jorge tonight worked on the second bench and then tomorrow he'll install the table after he builds it - thank goodness. Then the couch in which I am so trying to be patient because lets face it - knitting at the kitchen table is not comfortable. We're watching North to Alaska (one of my favorite movies and it was filmed in the Alabama Hills in Lone Pine). It's 8pm and no more working on the RV because it's not fair for the campers who have to listen to the power tools. Here's today's picture - hope you enjoy them as much as I have.... Coming soon to the blog after the work has been completed - I'll take pictures of how I store my supplies and such and then you can let me know what you think.... Wait till you see all my yarn.....

TOUPEE in an RV made and done!

I did this and one other hat you'll see in the picture. Boa yarn was a bit of a challenge for me to work with but sure was fun.... I thought I'd really have some and make a different strange type of hat. The word Toupee inspired me to be silly so maybe it will sell or maybe it won't but I bet anything I'll get a lot of views to the store - and if that's the case cha-ching la la la..... Knitting however for me is very hard because not only do I not have a couch or decent chair to sit in comfy but my RV is torn to shreds. My husband is building as I stated in the last blog entry but oh my..... Any who check out what my table/chair is going to look like and check out the link that goes to my etsy store....

Crafting Bucket List

Well in the last week or so I've been pretty busy doing everything but crafting. It's also been pretty hot to do any knitting. And any knitter knows how itchy the fingers can get and any form of sweat makes working with the needles almost impossible to deal with. Also Jorge has my RV torn to shreds remodeling in which I am most excited about. He's putting in mini table with 1/2 size benches and a couch which will make knitting a crocheting a lot easier..... He's some of the items on my bucketlist for crafting.... Let me know what you think?

Glue Guns in an RV

Can you survive with a glue gun in a 24 foot RV? As hard as it is to believe - you can. All you have to do is hide the pets and clear the entire table and place a tin pan underneath for safety and go to town on what ever project you are working on. For me it was my snowman I sell on my store. I've been doing these little guys for years and have not grown tired of making them. I just wished more people would buy them - Maybe this is my year!! I store mesh, and tons and tons and tons of yarn (I never have enough yarn, where the the most sane person would say "As If") and then there is the pom poms, the glue sticks and the googlies eyes in mass doses that I store. As you read more of my blogs you'll get to a point when you think perhaps out loud like I often do, how the hell do you store all your stuff and how is that you have room for it to begin with? Ahhhhh that's my trick to keep you following my Blog so that I can share the secrets of my OCD in my living quarters..... Got ya - lol.....
I've also done a infant hat (something I'm still new to) or it can be used for a dolls head although I wouldn't recommend using for your pet, there's not slots for the ears. If you'd like one done email me and I'll get one or two or three done for you... The time frame it took for the hat was about 6 hours and the snowman about the same. There is a lot of work that goes into crafting and as some of you sellers know we don't get a fraction for that in pay. But honestly no one expects to get rich it's all about knowing someone wants your work in their home. I know for me its very much that - and that's why my stuff is always lower then everyone else - I just need to be loved..... Well I do have to get back to working it's only 11am here and I still have tons of time to be working/starting another project. So if you could spare just a minute more of your time check out my store and if you have even more time on your hands "As If" send my blog link to your friends. You never know how these networking links help. I do kind of depend of it...... And send me yours by all means....

My first blog entry

I don't expect to get a whole lot of lookers on this one - so for the wonderful people who stopped by to see this - I so thank-you. As you can see I am a full time RVer who travels the United States back and forth and up and down. Can you imagine crafting in a 24 foot RV. A king size quilt (in fact 2 of them) was made in this tiny moving home of ours. What fun and still have fun. I do everything from Knitting, Crocheting, Meshing, Felting, Cross Stitch, Needle Point, Paint, Wood Burn, Build Small Villages. All this goes on my Esty store

http://http://www.etsy.com/shop/MrsCraftyRVing?ga_search_query=mrscraftyrving&ga_search_type=seller_usernames

and my husband has a store too in which we compete with sales. But another time and on another blog insert I'll add his info. We started our adventure in Miami and went north to South Dakota and made our way to California. Currently we are in Mammoth Lakes in which my husband took the job as Site Area Manager for the entire Mammoth Lakes and Basin area which included 500+ campsites. So he's busy this year and won't deal with his store (that is making items) until the season is over November 15th. By that time the holiday is close to be over and he'll have to do over time to keep up with my sales..... I truley hope you like the blog and decide to follow it. And if you do please comment once in awhile to let me know what your thinking. It's important because it you the reader I am serving.
