Donation hats I've made so far within the last 48 hours!

The weather is not hot nor super cold but just perfect to open one's heart and start giving... The last 48 hours I worked on my donation hats for the store (remember I donate in 3 stages so that something is always in the works... 1. Jorge and I as a donor and that cause is MS in honor of my brother and 2 through my store to give customers the chance to also do right and 3 and I can't come complete public about this but I am hoping that Jorge's job will also support this cause to Inyo Bishop Hospital who is in great need of help. If the company wishes not to participate then it will be in Jorge's and my name - so I am asking for prayers on this quest of mine - Our winter is dedicated to doing Charity work that's 5+ months - what will you do?)...

Giving shouldn't be easy - in fact it should be hard. Why you ask? Well I have a couple of things to share...

Deuteronomy 14:28-29
At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year's produce and store it in your towns, so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Deuteronomy 15:7
If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother.

Leviticus 19:10
Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 23:22
When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 25:35
'If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or a temporary resident, so he can continue to live among you.

Psalm 37:25-26
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed.

Psalm 41:1-2
Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble. The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.

Psalm 112:9
He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be lifted high in honor.

Proverbs 11:24-25
One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.

This Proverbs hits home for me and saved the best for last.

I can go on and on.... This is something so strong within me!
I get this very often when people are shocked when they hear Jorge and I say prayers daily and often - and often get called Bible Thumpers - well thumping away I go because I am a sinner and I need my school for the sinners. I am not perfect that's why I turn to the Bible to learn the tools I need to know (and often enough a repeat in lessons)....

I hope you share my love for what I am trying to share with you and understand how precious life is.... And how short it is.....
